The 2012 Los Angeles PRIDE Parade and Festival

What better way to kick off J. Valentine’s rainbow-rific makeover with a visit to the 2012 Los Angeles PRIDE Festival? Held this year on June 9th-10th, the Los Angeles PRIDE Parade and Festival is an all inclusive celebration of the LGBT community.

Inspired by the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender liberation movement, which was launched because of the mob-led rebellion at New York's Stonewall Inn on Christopher Street in 1969, the Christopher Street West Association, Inc. produced the very first PRIDE parade in 1970. Now a household name for anyone growing up in Los Angeles, the LA PRIDE Parade and Festival welcomes over 400,000 participants.

We're going to go out on a limb here and say there probably isn't anywhere more appropriate that we could have handed out our new Rainbow Bracelets at. We also wanted to thank everyone that volunteers to make PRIDE what it is and who continue to promote the freedom that all of us so cherish, but rarely take the time to show appreciation for. Thanks!!
